Pharmacy Voice responds to General Election results

Rob Darracott, Chief Executive of Pharmacy Voice, said:

“With the Conservative party set to be elected, Pharmacy Voice will be calling on the new Government to be true to its words and place pharmacy at the centre of the prevention agenda; by managing medicines, repeat prescriptions and minor ailments. Throughout the election campaign many of the incoming MPs showed their support for our community pharmacy manifesto, including Jeremy Hunt who visited Nick Kaye’s pharmacy in Cornwall and Raj Patel’s Mount Elgon Pharmacy in Surrey. We will now look to him and his team to represent the best interests of community pharmacy over the next five years and we will continue to reach out to policy makers and parliamentary audiences of all parties to drive support and action for community pharmacy.”
